Tomoa Narasaki is a professional Japanese climber and boulderer who began his ascent at the age of 10, following in the footsteps of his sister Sachi Amma. His early athletic background in gymnastics on apparatuses seamlessly transitioned into rock climbing at his family-owned climbing gym, Sachi Climbing Gym.
Championship Successes
Narasaki has achieved remarkable success throughout his career, including victories at the 2016 Bouldering World Cup and the 2016 World Climbing Championships in bouldering. He further cemented his dominance by winning the Bouldering World Championships in 2019.
Family Connections and Olympic Qualification
Narasaki's younger brother, Meichi Narasaki, is also a professional climber, continuing the family's legacy in the sport. In 2019, Tomoa Narasaki secured his spot at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics by claiming the gold medal at the IFSC Climbing World Championships.
