Tran Van Hay - The Man with the World's Longest Hair
Tran Van Hay, a Vietnamese man, is known for having the longest hair in the world. Despite his remarkable hair length, he has never made it into the pages of the famous Guinness World Records, which seems like a missed opportunity. Tran Van Hay's hair, which he has not cut for over 50 years, now resembles a massive 6-meter long snake.

A Brief Biography
Tran Van Hay, also known as Tran Van Hay, was born in 1931 in Vietnam. For the past five decades, he has refused to cut his hair. Unlike many women who take great care of their precious locks, Tran Van Hay simply let his hair grow, resulting in a giant dreadlock. His hair, weighing over 10 kilograms, has become a burden to carry on his head. However, Tran Van Hay has grown accustomed to it and has no intention of sacrificing his hair for the sake of convenience. When he goes for a walk or rides his bicycle, he wraps his "snake" around his head multiple times and secures it with a turban, making him look peculiar and even comical. Nevertheless, Tran Van Hay is unconcerned about appearances.

Unusual Haircare Habits
It is said that Tran Van Hay stopped cutting his hair after falling seriously ill following a haircut. Since then, fearing illness, he has refrained from touching his hair at all. In fact, he has only washed his hair a few times in his entire life, which explains why his hair does not look its best aesthetically. However, Tran Van Hay is not concerned about aesthetics or hygiene. He feels perfectly comfortable even after more than a decade since his last hair wash. Old photographs from official documents show that Tran Van Hay had long hair even back then, which he used to style around his head like a cap. Over the years, this cap-like structure has grown in both circumference and volume.

The Generosity of Nature
It is remarkable that despite not cutting his hair for over fifty years, Tran Van Hay has not experienced any significant hair loss. His hair continues to grow. In addition to his long hair, Tran Van Hay also has a thin, grey beard and mustache, typical of many Asians. His family takes great care of his long hair, helping him style it into a turban and then releasing it. Tran Van Hay usually lives with his turban on his head, as it is undoubtedly inconvenient to move around with a 10-kilogram, 6-meter long snake-like hair.

Unclaimed Fame
It is unclear why Tran Van Hay has never appeared in the Guinness World Records. Rumors suggest that he never applied for the record himself. Perhaps people have advised him to do so, as his hair length would undoubtedly be a difficult record to surpass. However, it is possible that this poor Vietnamese man simply does not desire fame.
