Trisha Yearwood is an American country singer who gained the most fame with a series of her hits in the 1990s and the millennium. She has won three Grammy Awards, two Country Music Association Awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards. Patricia Lynn Yearwood, known as Trisha Yearwood, was born on September 19, 1964, in Monticello, Georgia, USA. She is one of the most popular female country singers of the 90s. Yearwood started her career as a protégé of Garth Brooks but quickly became a successful solo artist.

Yearwood made her debut in 1991 with her first hit single, "She's in Love with the Boy". Trisha Yearwood is the daughter of Jack and Gwen Yearwood. Her father worked as a local banker and farmer, while her mother was a school teacher. In 1982, she became an outstanding student in the Academy of Piedmont. She transferred to Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked as a receptionist at 'MTM Records', a music company. She made her demo recordings and also served as a backing vocalist for promising artists working with the company.
