Biography of Vakhtang Koridze
Vakhtang Koridze was a Soviet football player, specifically a midfielder. He began his football career at the Dynamo (Batumi) school, where he was trained from 1963. He later joined the senior team in 1967 and played until August 1969.
Career at Dynamo Tbilisi
The majority of Koridze's career was spent at Dynamo Tbilisi, where he played from 1969 to 1970 and then again from 1975 to 1980. During his time at Dynamo Tbilisi, he achieved significant success, including winning the Soviet Union Championship in 1978, the Soviet Cup in 1976 and 1979, and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1981.
Achievements
In addition to his club success, Koridze also had achievements on the national stage. He was a silver medalist in the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the Soviet Union in 1979.
