Biography of Vera Skrypnikova
Vera Skrypnikova was born on August 8, 1925, in Kharkov, Ukraine. She graduated from the Kharkov Engineering and Construction Institute, specializing in architecture, in 1954. She became a member of the Union of Architects of Russia in 1947.
After graduating, Skrypnikova joined the design bureau of Construction Trust No. 24 as an architect. In 1962, she transitioned to work at the design institute "Giproneftestroi" as the Chief Architect of the project. She held this position from 1962 until 1982.
Throughout her career, Skrypnikova was responsible for various architectural projects and constructions. Some of her notable works include a residential building on the corner of Ulyanovskaya and Molodogvardeyskaya streets, the design institute "NIICeramzit," the Sacco and Vanzetti Rest House, the "Stroitel" Club in Kuibyshev (interior), the utility rooms of the main building of the OBD plant in Krasnodar, the construction of residential quarters for organization postal address 6 in Chapayevsk, the CPSU Regional Committee of Lenin District in Kuibyshev, the administrative and utility building of the KPD plant in Volgograd, the engineering building of the KATEK plant (Tarasov plant) in Kuibyshev, the master plan of the district in Nizhnekamsk, and many others.
Throughout her professional career, Vera Skrypnikova made significant contributions to the field of architecture. She played a crucial role in the design and construction of various residential, commercial, and public buildings, leaving a lasting impact on the architectural landscape of the regions where her projects were realized.
