Biography of Victoria Rowell

Victoria Rowell is a renowned African American dancer, actress, and philanthropist. She has received numerous awards for her work in the entertainment industry. Born in Portland, Victoria grew up in a foster home, as her mother, who suffered from incurable schizophrenia, was unable to care for her and her siblings. At the age of 16 days, Victoria and her siblings were placed in a children's shelter. She was later adopted by a foster family.

At the age of eight, Victoria was enrolled in ballet classes, which marked the beginning of her successful journey in the world of dance. Before attending the Cambridge School of Ballet, she was awarded an honorary prize from the Ford Foundation. At seventeen, Victoria studied at the American Ballet School and received training from the American Ballet Theatre and the Dance Theatre.

In the 1980s, Victoria gained popularity as a model and appeared on the cover of a magazine. She then decided to pursue acting and began taking acting lessons. Soon after, she received her first invitation to act in a film. Her acting career flourished, and in the 1990s, she was repeatedly honored for her performances.

In 1990, Victoria Rowell founded the Rowell Foster Children Positive Plan, a charitable organization that provides psychological and financial support to aspiring actors and dancers. In 2003, Victoria appeared on a television talk show and offered a recently released prisoner the opportunity to work, study, and receive medical assistance.

In terms of her personal life, Victoria Rowell married Tony Fahey in 1989 and gave birth to a daughter. However, their marriage ended after just one year. She later had a long-term relationship with a well-known musician, which resulted in the birth of her son, Jasper, who also pursued a career in acting.
