From a young age, Vida Guerra began to explore the fashion industry. She participated in several fashion shows and appeared in various music videos. Her first appearance in FHM magazine in 2002 was a huge success, with over a third of the publication's readers writing to the editor demanding more photos of Vida. Two years later, she was rightfully named FHM's Model of the Year, as her popularity had skyrocketed.

Since then, Vida Guerra has appeared in numerous magazines such as DUB, Smooth, Escape, Open Your Eyes, and many others. She has also actively participated in various television projects and has recorded several hit songs, including "Shake Ya Tailfeather," "The New Workout Plan," and "Obsession (No Es Amor)."

In 2005, Vida Guerra faced various challenges. One of these events involved the circulation of nude photos of her on the Internet. Guerra denied their authenticity, claiming that they featured another woman. However, most "well-wishers" insisted that the photos were genuine and were intentionally released to boost the model and singer's popularity. Regardless, the outcome was different than expected, as the photos only brought trouble instead of enhancing Vida's fame. Nevertheless, she did not lose her true fans and, in the same year, was recognized as one of the world's hundred sexiest women and named Best Cover Girl by FHM magazine. Additionally, calendars featuring her wearing swimsuits were released, and she hosted a television program during this time.

In 2006, Vida Guerra's photos were published in Playboy. This time, she did not deny the authenticity of the photos. Instead, she openly admitted that she passionately wanted her fans to finally see her as she truly is.
