Vladimir Almin: A Versatile Artist
Early Life and EducationVladimir "TGR" Almin was born in Moscow, Russia on December 5, 1974. He pursued diverse educational paths, obtaining both technical training in radio assembly and musical education in brass instruments.
Musical Career
In 1989, Almin formed his first rock band as a bass guitarist. From 1992 to 1997, he earned a higher education in engineering and construction. Throughout his musical career, Almin participated in various bands, including Or... (1992-96), Minzdrav (1996-97), Black Queen/N.EXT (1996-2001), and Mob Rules (1998).
Film and Television
From 2002 onwards, Almin expanded into the film industry. He joined the band Tampl in 2002, contributing as a composer and arranger for the rock opera "Joan of Arc." He also became a member of the art group Fellowship in May 2002.
Acting, Sound Engineering, and Composition
Almin's talents extend to acting, sound engineering, and composition. In the "Lord of the Rings" parody film series, "The Rings Around the Tub," he portrayed the character Legolas and handled sound engineering and composition (2002-2004). His film credits include "The Third Floor" (2005) as Lyolik and "Control by Miracles" (2006) as King Olaf, where he again contributed as an actor, sound engineer, and composer. Almin also composed and engineered sound for the film "Regular People" (2007).
