Biography of Vladimir Golub

Vladimir Golub, a popular Belarusian artist, currently resides and works in Vilnius. He was born in 1953 in Slutsk. In 1971, he graduated from the Republican Art School named after Ahremchik in Minsk. In 1977, Golub completed his studies at the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute, specializing in painting.

Since 1978, Golub has actively participated in regional, national, international, and overseas exhibitions. He became a member of the Belarusian Artists' Union in 1985.

Golub's works can be found in various prestigious art institutions and collections, including the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Minsk, the Fund of the Artists' Union of the Republic of Belarus, and the personal collection of Tatiana Kuvshinova in Belarus. His paintings are also displayed in the Art Gallery of the Grodno Historical and Archaeological Museum, the Art Museum named after M. Shagal in Vitebsk, the Art Museum named after P. Maslennikov in Mogilev, as well as in art galleries in Tykocin and Barlinek, Poland.
