Early Life and Education
Birth and ChildhoodAndrii Rymaruk was born on June 28, 1995, in Berdiansk, Ukraine. His family later relocated to Vasylkiv, Kyiv Oblast, where he began his artistic journey. He studied at Vasylkiv Secondary School No. 8.
Musical Pursuits
From a young age, Rymaruk exhibited a passion for music. He started playing the piano at age 5 and attended the Kyiv Mykola Lysenko Music School from 2002 to 2003. He became a laureate at numerous competitions and completed a piano program in 2009.
Sporting Achievements
Alongside his musical pursuits, Rymaruk actively engaged in sports. He excelled in track and field, karate, and basketball, and from age 8, he pursued competitive rowing. He attained a second youth rank in canoeing and kayaking and became a candidate for master of sports in Horting in 2012.
College Career and Musical Aspirations
Rymaruk studied computer programming at the Vasylkiv College of the National Aviation University. During this time, he realized his desire to become a singer and began taking vocal lessons. He actively participated in local concerts and festivals, winning vocal competitions. He also auditioned for X-Factor and The Voice of Ukraine. To support himself, he worked as a waiter, taxi driver, and motorcycle mechanic.
Theatrical Journey
After graduating college in 2014, Rymaruk enrolled at the National Aviation University's Faculty of Software Development. However, he found the program unfulfilling and dropped out after six months. In 2015, he followed his passion and entered the acting faculty at the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema, and Television named after Ivan Karpenko-Kary. He graduated in 2019.
During his time at the university, Rymaruk performed in all of his class's thesis productions, appearing on the stages of Theater on Podil, Suziryia Theater, Theater on Lipky, and Nikolai Rushkovsky's Theater Workshop. He also participated in radio broadcasts and became proficient in horseback riding and acrobatics. In 2021, he obtained a Master's degree in Producing.
Film Career
Since 2017, Rymaruk has appeared in numerous films and series. His athletic training enables him to perform his own stunts. In 2019, he had a cameo role in Oleksandr Denisenko's "Taras. The Return," showcasing his stunt work. In the same year, he played the lead in Angelina Turska's short film "Ivan Kupala." In 2020, he starred as boxer Grisha in Oleksandr Salnikov's historical war drama "Operation 'Deserter.'" Rymaruk was also part of the cast of "Incident.Subway," which won the Kyiv Pectoral Award for Best Chamber (Small) Stage Performance in 2020.
