The history of Guardian Industries Corp began in 1932 when the organization was a small company called Guardian Glass Company, producing windshields for the automotive industry. In 1970, the company opened its first glass manufacturing plant in Michigan. Since then, Guardian Industries Corp has significantly expanded and grown. Currently, it owns 23 production lines and 21 glass manufacturing plants located in different countries around the world.
