In the mid-1990s, Wing worked as a full-time professional. Fortuitously, a shared acquaintance introduced him to Wong Kar-wai, who was impressed by Wing's portfolio. He hired Wing as his official photographer and graphic designer for films such as "Happy Together," "In the Mood for Love," "Eros," and "2046."
