Biography of Wojciech Fibak
Wojciech Fibak is a former Polish professional tennis player. He was born on August 30, 1952, in Poznań, Poland. Fibak had a successful career, winning numerous titles and achieving high rankings in both singles and doubles disciplines.

Early Career
Fibak began his professional tennis career in 1974 and competed for 15 years until his retirement in 1988. He achieved over a thousand victories in singles and doubles matches during this time. Fibak was a member of the World Championship Tennis (WCT) professional association and won four WCT tournaments in singles and twelve in doubles.
Major Achievements
Fibak reached the finals of the Masters tournament, a parallel year-end tennis event organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), in singles. He won a total of 15 singles tournaments and 52 doubles tournaments throughout his career. Fibak also reached the finals of professional tournaments 19 times in singles and 33 times in doubles.
Breakthrough Year - 1978
The year 1978 was the most successful year in Fibak's doubles career. He reached at least the semifinals in all four Grand Slam tournaments and won the Australian Open with his partner Kim Warwick. Later Career

Fibak's last tournament wins came in 1987 when he won the Hilversum tournament in the Netherlands with Miloslav Mečíř and the Toulouse tournament with Michael Schapers. He played his final matches in singles and doubles in February 1988 in Rotterdam.
