Early Life and Education
Boris Gabovs was born in Odessa, Ukraine. He attended a physics and mathematics school before graduating from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute with a degree in nuclear energy. After completing his studies, he pursued a career in industry, specializing in electroplating.
Career in Humor and Satire
Gabovs' interest in humor and satire led him to become a member of the legendary "Odessa Gentlemen" KVN team. In 1987, he became the KVN USSR champion as part of the team. From 1987 to 1991, he was the leading actor in the "Club of Odessa Gentlemen" variety theater.
Immigration and Life in Israel
In 1991, Gabovs immigrated to Israel. He initially worked in a kibbutz factory that manufactured solar boilers. However, his passion for humor remained strong, and he became one of the organizers of the Israeli KVN team.
Business and Tourism
Gabovs also worked in the tourism industry, managing the Israeli travel agency "International."
Television Career
Since 2001, Gabovs has hosted the popular television program "Seven-Forty" in Israel. He continues to entertain audiences with his witty humor and engaging style.
