Biography of Yasemin Kay Allen
Early LifeYasemin Kay Allen was born on July 10, 1989, in London, to an English father with Anglo-Turkish citizenship, Dudley Allen, and his wife, a Turkish actress of British origin, Suna Yildizoglu (Sonny Eddie). She has a younger brother named Kaan. When Yasemin was three months old, her parents moved to Turkey. Ten years later, Yasemin and her mother relocated to Australia.
Education
Yasemin studied at the Film and Television Department of Queensland University. At the age of 18, she returned to Turkey and completed her education at the Theatre Department of Mujdat Gezen Conservatory.
Career
In 2008, Yasemin became a finalist in the "New Face" competition by L'Oréal. That same year, she made her television debut alongside her mother in the series "Elif." In 2010, Yasemin starred in two projects: "Dreamers" and "High Place." In 2011, she played a supporting role in the series "Life Goes On." Two years later, in 2013, Yasemin landed a role in the series "Mercy." In the same year, she became the face of the website "N11.com" and made her film debut in the lead role in the movie "Water and Fire." In 2014, Yasemin had a small role in the fourth season of the popular TV series "Magnificent Century." Apart from acting in films and television, Yasemin also participates in commercials ("Sprite," "N11.com," and "TTNET") and music videos ("In My Dreams" by Ilgaz Erel and "Adults" by Ogun Sanlisoy). In 2014, she also hosted the beauty pageant "Elidor Miss Turkey 2014." Yasemin also appeared in the series "Case of Honor" as Sibel. In 2016, she appeared in the series "46."
Personal Life
During the filming of "Elif," Yasemin met actor Onur Tuna, and they were in a relationship that lasted until 2013. Since 2014, Yasemin has been dating Armağan Oğuz. Yasemin is skilled in playing the piano, singing, and drawing. In her free time, she enjoys sketching and designing jewelry.
