Zendaya Coleman is an American actress, singer, dancer, and model. She began her career on the Disney Channel as a typical young talent - an actress, singer, and dancer. Over time, it became clear that Zendaya's ambitions extended much further. By now, she has also produced several new projects for the channel.

Zendaya was born in Oakland, California. From a young age, she spent a lot of time in the local theater where her mother worked. She performed various supporting roles and occasionally appeared on stage. She studied acting at school and at the American Conservatory Theater. Alongside her acting career, Coleman also studied dance and spent about three years in the dance group 'Future Shock Oakland'.

Zendaya got her first taste of success as a teenager when she became a model for 'Macy's' and 'Old Navy'. She also appeared in the music video for Katy Perry's 'Hot n Cold' in the 'Kidz Bop' version.
