Early Life and Education
Halyna Pavlenko was born on June 23, 1948, in the village of Stadnytsia, Tetiiv Raion, Kyiv Oblast. She graduated from the Odessa Agricultural Institute in 1971.
Career
In 1971, Pavlenko became the chief zootechnician of the Zhdanov collective farm (now known as Agrofirm Mayak), located in Zlatovstovo, Berezovskyi Raion, Odessa Oblast. In 1975, she rose to the position of chair of the farm's board.
Contributions to Agriculture
Under Pavlenko's leadership, Agrofirm Mayak became a leading agricultural enterprise, embracing modern farming practices and achieving significant productivity gains.
