Zoya Antonova (née Fromicheva-Korsakova) is a young Belarusian actress who has gained recognition for her roles in melodramas such as "Heart of Stone" and the television series "My Strange Child."

Early Life and Education

Hailing from Minsk, Belarus, Antonova grew up in a family with no direct ties to the film industry. Despite this, she exhibited a remarkable creative talent at an early age. After graduating high school, she enrolled at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, where she studied in the workshop of V.V. Kotovitsky. Antonova graduated with a diploma in Dramatic Theater and Cinema in 2010.

Theater Debut

While still a student, Antonova made her professional stage debut in the play "Eurydice" at the Yevgeny Mirovich Theater-Studio. After graduating, she joined the prestigious Minsk Drama Theater of the Belarusian Army, where she remains a member to this day.

Film Breakthrough

Despite her home base in Belarus, Antonova's film debut came in the Russian detective series "Your Honor." She went on to appear in several other films, including "Daddy Carlo's Favorite Daughter," "Detective Agency 'Ivan da Marya'," and "Zhurov-2."

Antonova's breakthrough role came in the 2012 melodrama "Heart of Stone," which brought her widespread recognition both in Belarus and Russia.
