Biography of Aaron Kelly
Aaron Kelly, whose full name is Aaron Wayne Kelly, was born in 1993 in Davenport, Florida. At the age of 5, his biological parents were stripped of their parental rights, and he was subsequently adopted by his aunt and uncle. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee, and later to Sonestown, Pennsylvania, where he attended school.
Early Musical Career
From a young age, Aaron had a passion for music and admired artists like Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, and Celine Dion. At the age of 9, he began performing as an opening act for renowned artists such as Charlie Daniels, Loretta Lynn, and Bill Anderson. When he was 11 years old, Aaron became a finalist on the television show "America's Most Talented Kid," which aired on NBC.
American Idol Journey
Aaron's talent caught the attention of the public and judges when he performed at "The American Idol Experience" at The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. With just one song, he became a favorite among the audience and received a "golden ticket," granting him the opportunity to participate in the popular music television show "American Idol." He became the second youngest contestant in the show's history to make it to the Top 12, only behind Haeley Vaughn.
On May 5, 2010, Aaron was eliminated from the show after an unsuccessful performance of Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon." He ultimately secured the fifth place after the tallying of viewer votes. His final song on "American Idol" was the Bee Gees' "How Deep Is Your Love."
