Anton Zaslavski, known professionally as Zedd, was born in Saratov, Russia, into a family of musicians. His musical journey began at the age of four with classical piano lessons. At the age of three, Zedd and his family relocated to Kaiserslautern, Germany, where he spent his childhood and adolescence. At twelve, he became proficient in drums, and together with his brother, Arkady, formed the rock band Dioramic in 2002.
Transition to Electronic Music
Zedd's interest in electronic music was sparked seven years later, after listening to Justice's album. Inspired, he began producing his own electronic music in 2009. His breakthrough came in 2011 with the release of his electro-house single "Dovregubben," which soared to the top of music charts.
