Early Life and Club Career
Mohammad Al-Khilaiwiis a celebrated Saudi Arabian footballer who began his professional journey in 1993 with Al-Ahli Jeddah. During his tenure at Al-Ahli, he led the team to victory in the Saudi Crown Prince Cup and the Saudi Federation Cup.
In 2001, Al-Khilaiwi joined Al-Hilal Riyadh, where he became a key member of the squad for the next four years. With Al-Hilal, he achieved significant success, winning the Saudi League title twice, the Saudi Crown Prince Cup twice, the Prince Faisal Cup, and the Asian Cup Winners' Cup.
Career with Al-Damk
In 2005, Al-Khilaiwi transferred to Al-Damk in the Saudi First Division, where he has remained a fixture ever since.
International Career
Captaincy and AccomplishmentsAl-Khilaiwi made his debut for the Saudi Arabian national team in 1993 and went on to become a mainstay in the defense. He earned 122 international caps and scored four goals.
As a member of the national team, Al-Khilaiwi played in three FIFA World Cups (1994, 1998, and 2002). He also captained the team to victory in the 1996 Asian Cup and was part of the squad that reached the final of the 2000 Asian Cup. Additionally, Al-Khilaiwi participated in the Arab Nations Cup and the Gulf Cup of Nations, winning both tournaments twice.
