Early Life and Career
Uzbek amateur boxer Hasanboy Dusmatov competes in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. As a member of the Uzbekistan national team, he has achieved numerous accolades:

2018 Season
Dusmatov's breakout year was 2018. He won the Asian Junior Championship in the 60 kg division. In August, at the World Junior Championships in Budapest, he triumphed in the 56 kg category, defeating Russian Vsevolod Shumkov in the final. Two months later, he captured the gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, once again defeating Shumkov in the 56 kg final.
2021-2022 Season
Dusmatov continued his success in 2021 and 2022. At the Asian Championships in Dubai, he claimed bronze in the 60 kg weight class despite a controversial loss to Mongolian Erdenebatyn Tsendbaatar in the semifinals.
At the World Championships in Belgrade, Dusmatov narrowly missed out on the gold medal, finishing as the silver medalist in the 60 kg division. He defeated several notable opponents along the way, including Shumkov in the quarterfinals and Iranian Danial Shahbakhsh, who withdrew from their semifinal bout due to an injury. However, Dusmatov was ultimately defeated in the final by Frenchman Sofiane Oumiha.
In the following year, Dusmatov switched to the 57 kg weight class and won gold at the prestigious Strandja International Tournament in Sofia, beating Cuban-born Javier Ibanez in the final. He then became the Asian champion in Amman, defeating Kazakh Serik Temirzhanov in the final.
