Ace Frehley, born on April 27, 1950, in the Bronx, New York, is an American guitarist best known as a member of the American rock band Kiss. Rock and roll gave Frehley the complete freedom and outlet he had been searching for ever since he first heard the Rolling Stones. The early albums of the Rolling Stones provided him with strength and belief that one day, rock would become his element.

From the Streets to the Stage

Freely made a living by driving a taxi through the streets of New York, which not only provided him with money but also allowed him to feel the rhythm of the Rolling Stones. Although he was a smart kid in school, he constantly surrounded himself with troublemakers, which led to problems. After attending three different high schools, he finally decided to dedicate himself to music. Even after years of success and fame, Frehley still bears the marks of the streets on his face. His face is scarred and he looks older than he actually is. Over time, Frehley has mellowed, but there is still a hint of eccentricity in him. Frehley constantly hung out with street kids - it was the only way he could live as he had fled home. But deep down, he was a musician and, at one point, he turned his back on everyone and immersed himself in rock. One by one, his friends met their demise, some ending up on the gallows and others in gas chambers, but he kept on living. He had a goal he wanted to achieve, at all costs. Rock was the main direction of his life. His first band was called "Four Roses" and had a resemblance to the Rolling Stones. He was influenced by famous British electric guitarists like Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, and Jimmy Page, which is why his solos resemble the technique and playing style of his idols.
