Born February 27, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, Adam Baldwin is an American actor and namesake of the renowned Baldwin brothers. Growing up in the modest town of Winnetka, he graduated from New Trier High School and briefly worked as a truck driver. However, his passion for acting led him to pursue studies at acting classes.
Baldwin's cinematic debut came in 1980's "My Bodyguard," where his portrayal of Ricky Linderman garnered immediate attention. His role in Stanley Kubrick's "Full Metal Jacket" (1987) propelled him further into the spotlight.

In the 1980s and early 1990s, Baldwin found himself frequently cast as villains, murderers, and psychopaths. However, over time, he deftly expanded his range.
