Biography of Adriano Giannini
Adriano Giannini is an Italian actor and assistant cameraman known for his work in drama, comedy, and melodrama genres. He was born on May 10, 1971, in Rome, Italy.

Early Career and Breakthrough
In 2001, Adriano starred as Marco in the Italian film "Alla rivoluzione sulla due cavalla" ("On Two Horsepower of Revolution") directed by Maurizio Sciarra.

A year later, in 2002, he landed one of the main roles opposite the stunning Madonna in the remake of the 1974 film "Swept Away." Interestingly, Adriano's father, Giancarlo Giannini, had played the same role of sailor Giuseppe 'Guido' Esposito in the original movie nearly 30 years prior. However, the film was a major failure, and both Madonna and her husband-director, Guy Ritchie, faced public ridicule on the eve of the Oscars. The creative partnership of Madonna and Adriano Giannini even earned them the title of "Worst Screen Couple." Nevertheless, it did attract attention, proving that even negative publicity can bring recognition.
Continued Success and Diversification
In 2003, Adriano lent his voice to a character in the animated film "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas."
The following year, in 2004, he was invited to appear in the mini-series "Luisa Sanfelice," based on the true story of an 18th-century rebel and his lover's attempt to overthrow the Italian monarchy. Adriano also portrayed the character of Valerio in "Le conseguenze dell amore" ("The Consequences of Love") and participated in the project "Stai con me" and "Talpa al bioparco, Una."
In 2004, he played the role of a museum director in Steven Soderbergh's renowned film "Ocean's Twelve" alongside George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, Matt Damon, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and others.
Recent Work
Adriano Giannini continued to showcase his talent in the following years. In 2007, he appeared in the Italian drama "Centochiodi," the comedy "Nero bifamiliare," and the drama "Las 13 rosas" ("The 13 Roses") directed by Emilio Martinez Lazaro.
In 2008, he played one of the main roles in Anna Negri's directorial production "Amore proibito" ("Forbidden Love") and portrayed Lorenzo in the melodrama "Sandrine nella pioggia" directed by Tonino Zangardi. He also starred as Gerald in the mini-series "Tigri di carta" and portrayed the character of Michele Raggi in Claudio Giovannesi's "Casa sulle nuvole" ("House on the Clouds").
Through his diverse roles and contributions to the Italian film industry, Adriano Giannini has established himself as a versatile and talented actor.
