Early Life and Education

Born in 1961, the Armenian political and military figure initially resided with his family in Yerevan. He pursued his education at the Yerevan Technical College of Food Industry before serving in the Soviet Army. Subsequently, he studied at the Voronezh Institute of Forestry.

Career and Political Involvement

Upon completing his education, he began his career at the Anush Knitwear Production Association as a factory worker. His dedication and hard work led him to rise through the ranks, eventually becoming the Chairman of the Consumer Cooperative of the Shahumyan District.

Role in the Karabakh Conflict

In 1988, he became an active participant in the Karabakh movement, joining the "Malatia" armed detachment that played a significant role in the Karabakh War. He served as the elected leader of the Malatia-Sebastia community of Yerevan on two occasions.

Later Political Career

In 2006, he joined the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), marking the beginning of his involvement in national politics. His contributions to Armenian society continue to be recognized and valued.
