Journalist and War Correspondent

Born in Tehran, Bourghani earned a degree in geography from Shahid Beheshti University. After the 1979 Islamic Revolution, he embarked on a career in journalism. During the Iran-Iraq War, he served as a war correspondent and later became the news editor-in-chief of the Iranian News Agency.

International Correspondent and Newspaper Founder

From 1990 to 1993, Bourghani worked as the United Nations correspondent for the Iranian News Agency in New York. Upon his return to Iran, he played a pivotal role in establishing the short-lived weeklies Bahar, Barharan, and Poslannik.
