Early Life and Education

Aizada Salatbekova was born on December 17, 1976, in Frunze (present-day Bishkek), Kyrgyzstan. Her father, Zhekshenbai Ismailov, was an educator, while her mother, Kuzipa Uergazueva, raised their children. Salatbekova completed her secondary education at School No. 62 in Bishkek in 1994.

From 1994 to 1999, she pursued a degree in Oriental Studies at the Bishkek Humanities University, specializing in the economy of South Korea. As a student in 1997, she also taught Korean at the Balassagyn private school in Bishkek.

Professional Career

Salatbekova's professional journey began in 1998 as a part-time translator at Phuryl Kil. From 2002 to 2005, she served as the principal manager and translator for Hanul's geological division. In 2005-2006, she worked as a translator for the Korean company Venture C&C Plaza before becoming its principal manager and translator from 2006 to 2008.

From 2006 to 2010, Salatbekova represented the Korean company PARK8 OPC as its regional representative. In 2011-2015, she was the general director of Silk Road Services.

Political Career

In 2015, Salatbekova was elected as a deputy to the VI convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh (parliament) from the Ata-Zhurt Republican Party. She served on the Committee on Social Issues, Education, Science, Culture, and Healthcare. In 2016, she became the head of the friendship group for cooperation with the Republic of Korea.

On April 1, 2020, Salatbekova was appointed as the Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan. She held this position until February 3, 2021.

Awards and Recognition

Salatbekova is the recipient of the Ardak certificate of honor from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Datka Ayyim medal of distinction from the Kyrgyz Association of Women Police Officers.

Personal Life

Salatbekova is married and has two children.
