Early Life and Education
Born on September 22, 1937, in Tuapse, Russia, into a working-class family, Atmachadi's father was unjustly accused as an "enemy of the people" during Stalin's repressive regime. In 1942, he and his family were evacuated to Semipalatinsk, Kazakhstan, where he completed his secondary education.
Driven by a passion for construction, Atmachadi enrolled in a technical college and subsequently earned a degree in economics from the Technological Institute.
Career in the Construction Industry
Atmachadi's illustrious career in the construction industry began in 1967 when he was appointed director of Semipalatinsk's Precast Reinforced Concrete Plant No. 1. Under his visionary leadership, the plant transformed into a flourishing production association for precast concrete.
Prior to his directorship, Atmachadi had gained invaluable experience over eight years at the same enterprise, serving as a laboratory technician, shift foreman, workshop manager, and deputy director.
Political Participation
Beyond his contributions to construction, Atmachadi played an active role in Kazakhstan's political landscape. He was twice elected as a deputy to the Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR, demonstrating his commitment to serving his nation.
