Alberto Busnari is an Italian gymnast, three-time medalist at the European Championships, and a Guinness World Record holder. He is known for his incredible ability to perform a high number of "Thomas Flairs" on the pommel horse, setting a record of 50 flairs per minute.

Early Life and Career

Alberto Busnari began his gymnastics journey at the age of six, joining the team "Juventus Nova Melzo 1960" under the guidance of his coach, Fulvio Vailati. Since 2004, he has been representing the Italian Air Force sports club.

Olympic Achievements

Busnari competed in four consecutive Olympic Games from 2000 to 2012, representing the Italian national team. His best performance came in Sydney, where he secured the 35th place in the all-around competition. He also achieved notable success in the pommel horse discipline, earning three medals at the European Championships and finishing in fourth place in London.

Aside from his Olympic and European Championship success, Busnari has also excelled in other international events. He is a two-time medalist at the Universiade and a six-time medalist at the Mediterranean Games, including two gold medals.

This show features celebrities attempting to set records that will be officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. In that episode, Busnari set a record for the most number of "Thomas Flairs" performed in one minute on the pommel horse, completing an astounding 50 flairs. This achievement matched the previous record set by British gymnast Louis Smith.
