From Florence to Bologna - The Early Years

Aldo Pecini's scouting journey began at Fiorentina, where he spent five years honing his skills. In 1997, he joined Bologna, further expanding his knowledge and network.

Successes at Chievo and Inter

After four years at Bologna, Pecini moved to Chievo, where he played a pivotal role in identifying and acquiring Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar. This transfer marked a significant milestone in his career. In 2004, Pecini departed for Inter Milan, where he worked alongside Roberto Mancini.

From Lazio to Parma - Continued Accomplishments

Pecini's reputation and effectiveness led to stints at top Italian clubs Lazio and Torino. He then spent two productive years at Parma, further developing his scouting abilities.

Joining Zenit and Revisiting Bologna

In 2010, Pecini embarked on an international adventure, becoming the head of international scouting for Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg. His collaboration with fellow Italian Luciano Spalletti proved successful. Later on, Pecini returned to Bologna, where he resumed his scouting duties under Stefano Pioli.
