Luka Mitrović (born October 22, 1984) is an Australian professional basketball player who currently plays for Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League and the Australian national team.

Early Career and Rise to Prominence

Mitrović, an Australian of Serbian descent, began his professional career with Partizan Belgrade in the 2009-10 season. Despite the team's modest budget, Mitrović's exceptional performance led them to the EuroLeague Final Four, where they suffered two overtime defeats to Olympiacos and CSKA Moscow. His outstanding play earned him inclusion in the EuroLeague All-First Team.

International Debut and Disappointment

Following his impressive season with Partizan, Mitrović joined Panathinaikos in 2010. With the Greek club, he won the EuroLeague, Greek Championship, and Greek Cup once each.
