Biography of Alexey Elistratov (Revolvers)

Alexey Elistratov, also known as Revolvers, is a Russian actor and singer who rose to fame as the lead vocalist of the band "Revoльvers". He was born on July 8, 1976, in Orsk, Orenburg Oblast. In the early 90s, Alexey moved to Moscow with the intention of attending circus school. However, he was admitted to the school only a year after his arrival.

After graduating from the school with a specialization in "conversational genre artist," Alexey started performing his own musical parodies of popular artists in various entertainment venues. He received help from Evgeny Petrosyan, who showcased his performances on his television program. Eventually, Alexey was awarded the title of Laureate at the international competition "Sea of Laughter" named after Arkady Raikin for his act.

Parallel to his circus career, Alexey enrolled in the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (RATI, formerly GITIS) and made his debut in the film adaptation of Fyodor Sologub's novel, "Little Demon," directed by Nikolay Dostal. He successfully completed his studies at RATI under the guidance of Oleg Marusev in 2000.

Since the late 90s, Alexey has been the lead vocalist of the popular pop group "Revolvers". Additionally, he has lent his voice to the Russian dubbed versions of many foreign films, including the character Frodo Baggins in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy and Harry Potter in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling's book.

Through his diverse talents and contributions to both music and acting, Alexey Elistratov has established himself as a prominent figure in the Russian entertainment industry.
