Early Life and EducationAlexey Andreevich Potapenko, known as Potap, was born on May 8, 1981, in Kyiv, Ukraine. After completing his secondary education, Potap enrolled in the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine. However, he did not limit his education to this and went on to obtain a second degree from the National Economic University.
Career
Although Potap had a diverse educational background, he did not pursue a career related to his degrees. Instead, he became known as a talented and unique rapper with an original style of performance. He is also an accomplished songwriter, event organizer, director, composer, and sound producer. With his versatile skills, Potap has engaged in various side projects and achieved both success and public recognition. He is considered one of the most successful young music producers in Ukraine.

Potap is one of the founders of the music group KIEV-NRGO, which includes the bands Вхід у Змінному Взутті, Ugo, and New’Z’cool. He has also been involved in the creation of a holding company called "Bratya Gav," which is part of his future plans.
