Alex Lundqvist: A Multifaceted Superstar

Early Life and Career

Alex Lundqvist, born on April 14, 1972, is a renowned Swedish supermodel, professional paintball player, and a former Swiss National Army serviceman. He is the brother of professional paintball star Maximus Lundqvist. Growing weary of repeatedly shaving his head during his service, Lundqvist vowed to never do so again.

Breakthrough in Modeling

After his military experience, Lundqvist pursued computer design. Inspired by his unique appearance, he created striking photographs that caught the attention of photographer Bruce Weber and key figures in the fashion industry. In 1994, at the tender age of 18, Lundqvist's modeling career took off.

Collaborations and Recognition

Versace quickly recognized Lundqvist's exceptional talent, leading to a lucrative contract. Magazines such as GQ, Playgirl, Elle, L'Uomo Vogue, and Top Model eagerly featured him. MTV enlisted Lundqvist and his close friend Marc Vanderloo for their "House of Style" program.

In 1995, Guess, alongside Leticia Casta and Valeria Mazza, tapped Lundqvist for collaborations. His striking features and ability to captivate audiences made him an ideal ambassador for the brand until 1997.

Wilhelmina Era and Beyond

Signing with New York-based agency Wilhelmina Models, Lundqvist solidified his status as a top male model worldwide. His captivating charm, photogenic qualities, and unwavering professionalism continue to set him apart.

Multifaceted Pursuits

Beyond modeling, Lundqvist is an accomplished member of the Jersey Authority and Russian Legion paintball teams, competing in the NPPL and NXL leagues respectively. He resides in New York City and approaches life with a love for work, travel, and the adrenaline rush of paintball.
