Alex Nesich: Multitalented Actor with Global Roots
Early Life and EducationAlex Nesich was born on April 17, 1976, in Santa Barbara, California to Serbian parents. Growing up in a family that moved frequently, Nesich spent his childhood in Antibes, France, and Hawaii. He holds dual French and American citizenship and is fluent in four foreign languages.
Nesich graduated from the University of Santa Clara with a degree in European History and Spanish Literature.
Acting Career
After graduation, Nesich pursued an acting career. His notable film credits include "High Crimes" (2002) alongside Ashley Judd and James Caviezel, and the recent "What Boys Like."
On television, Nesich has appeared in numerous series including "CSI: Miami" (2002-2008), "JAG" (1995-2005), "Angel" (1999-2004), "Felicity," "Jack & Jill" (1998-2002), and "Still Life."
In 2005, he landed the role of Christian Omonte in the popular crime drama series "Sleeper Cell." It was on this show that he met his future wife, actress Melissa Sagemiller.
Recent Projects
In recent years, Nesich has starred in films such as "Say It in Russian" and "Drifter" (both 2007). He is currently working on the project "From Mexico with Love," scheduled for release in 2008.
