Alexander Khabarov: The Creator of Uralmash

Alexander Alexeyevich Khabarov was born in 1957 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. He grew up in the Uralmash district and attended a sports-focused boarding school. After graduating in 1974, he enrolled in the Sverdlovsk State Pedagogical Institute. Following his studies, Khabarov served in the Soviet military in Germany.

A Leader in Sports Education

From 1980 to 1985, Alexander Khabarov served as the director of the Children's Sports School of Olympic Reserve. Under his leadership, the school produced numerous world-class athletes who became champions at the European, world, and Olympic levels. In 1998, Khabarov earned a candidate of pedagogical sciences degree.

Achievements in Basketball

In 1990, Alexander Khabarov began working in the Uralmash basketball club. Through his efforts, the club gained international recognition. Khabarov's dedication to the sport earned him respect and admiration from athletes around the world.

Alexander Khabarov, along with other former athletes and friends from the Uralmash district, played a significant role in the OCG's formation. The OCG expanded its control over various industries, including the hydrolysis and liquor industries.

Disbandment of Uralmash OCG

On December 10, 2002, the Uralmash OCG was officially disbanded, and no successor organization was established in its place.
