Education and Early Career
Born in the Soviet Union, the Ukrainian scientist and professor specialized in information technology. He earned his degree from the Kyiv Higher Military Aviation School in 1974 and joined the institution as faculty in 1976.
Military Service
From 1991 to 1999, he served as the Head of the Department of Planning and Management of Scientific Work in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also led the Main Department of Defense Technologies at the Scientific Research Center of the General Staff in Kyiv.
Academic Career
In 1999, he joined the National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI" as a Professor in the Department of Telecommunications.
Scientific Achievements
His research focused on:- Optimizing the control of complex deterministic and stochastic systems with incomplete state vector information
- Determining optimal trajectories with finite and infinite branching
- Exploring the environmental impact of military operations and telecommunications
- Developing wireless sensor systems using unmanned aerial vehicles
