Alexander Pedan, born on March 24, 1982, in Khmelnytskyi, is a Ukrainian showman and TV presenter. He is known for his versatility and charisma as one of the most charismatic hosts of Novyi Channel.

Early Life and Education

Alexander Pedan was born to parents Sergey Iosifovich and Valentina Nikolaevna, who met in a dance ensemble at the university. He is the youngest of three children, with two older brothers. After completing school, Alexander enrolled in the Economics Department of Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law, where he graduated in 2004 with a degree in Management and Economics.

Career

From a young age, Alexander Pedan dreamed of becoming an actor and was involved in amateur theater during his school years. He also studied Ukrainian folk dance for thirteen years due to his father's involvement as a choreographer in the Ukrainian Folk Dance Ensemble. Pedan dedicated nine years to the Ukrainian KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive) and participated in various tournaments and festivals. In 2006, he became the host of Comedy Club Ukraine, showcasing his unique stage presence and earning the nickname "Angel".

Pedan joined the morning show "Pod"iom" on Novyi Channel from 2008 to May 2011, alongside Olga Freimut and Sergey Prytula, forming one of the most successful morning show trios in the history of the channel. He also hosted shows like "Ukraine Does Not Believe in Tears" and served as a judge on "Sing, If You Can" and "I am a Hero!".

In 2011, Alexander Pedan became the host of his solo project, "Intuition," on Novyi Channel. He also appeared in various other shows, including "Pack Your Bags" and "Who's on Top?". Pedan showcased his versatility by portraying numerous characters in "Pack Your Bags," and in "Who's on Top?," he became known as the 'voice from above.'

Personal Life

Alexander Pedan is married to Inna Pedan, whom he met during a school KVN competition. They got married in 2003 and have a daughter named Valeria, born on March 25, 2005. Inna Pedan works as an English teacher in one of the gymsnasiums in Kyiv.

Apart from his career in entertainment, Pedan also enjoys extreme sports such as snowboarding, surfing, diving, kiteboarding, parachuting, and bungee jumping.
