Early Life and Education
Oleksandr Saienko was born in Ukraine and later attended the Kyiv Professional Pedagogical College named after A. Makarenko. He graduated in 2006 from the National Academy of State Tax Service of Ukraine with a degree in Law.
Political and Public Service Career
In 2014, Saienko served as an advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development, Construction, and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine. From March to December 2015, he led the Secretariat of the Head of the Verkhovna Rada, Volodymyr Groysman.
Appointment as Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers
On April 14, 2016, Saienko was appointed as the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. His responsibilities include implementing priority reforms and coordinating the work of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers. He also heads the Reforms Office of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Reform Initiatives
As Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, Saienko has spearheaded efforts to reform Ukraine's public administration system. He oversees the implementation of the 2016-2020 State Management Reform Strategy, supported by the European Union.
