Soviet Soccer and Hockey Player

Konstantin Viktorovich Vinogradov was a renowned Soviet athlete who excelled in both soccer and hockey. He was bestowed the prestigious title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR in 1946.

Early Soccer Career

Vinogradov began his athletic journey as a soccer player. At the age of 18, he was drafted into the army and promptly joined the renowned soccer team CSKA. He played as a midfielder for the legendary club.

Vinogradov embraced hockey in his late twenties. He took on the role of a defender, known for his physicality and willingness to engage in intense battles on the ice.

International Hockey Success

Vinogradov made his mark on the international stage at the 1954 World Championships in Stockholm. He showcased his experience and determination, leading the team in competitive matches.

Coaching Career

After retiring from playing, Vinogradov embarked on a coaching career. He coached his former team, CSKA, for two seasons before being assigned to create a new army hockey team in Kuibyshev.

Return to Moscow

Vinogradov eventually returned to Moscow and joined the Krylia Sovetov team. He served as the club's head coach from 1964 to 1967. In the 1970s and 1980s, Vinogradov dedicated himself to coaching youth players at CSKA's sports school.
