Biography of Alexandra Kramer
Alexandra Kramer, better known as Alex Kramer, was born on March 29, 1978, in London. She is of Portuguese descent and has always had a passion for journalism.
Career in Television
Alex's television career started at the Output Producer channel, where she worked as a weather presenter. During this time, she also worked at Teletext Holidays, a channel specializing in tourism and leisure, where she hosted travel shows and reported from various destinations around the world.
She later became a presenter on the dating show "Cupid" on Sky Active and also hosted a program advertising various home products. Alex then joined BBC and worked as a correspondent for entertainment news programs such as "Liquid News" and "Montage" on Channel Five.
She also worked at Top Shop TV, hosting important company events and appearing in original commercials that were frequently played in stores. For thirteen months, Alex worked at the gaming channel Quiz Call, owned by Channel 4. In September 2006, she moved to ITV and became a co-host with Ben Baldwin on the popular late-night game show "Make Your Play." However, the program was discontinued in March 2007.
The Bullshit Detective and Glitterball
From April 12 to May 3, 2007, Alex was busy filming four episodes of "The Bulls**t Detective" on BBC Three. The show aimed to expose deceptive advertising of questionable products and services. She also appeared in advertisements for Microsoft Windows Vista during this time.
On April 7, 2007, Alex made her last appearance on "Make Your Play" and announced that she would be co-hosting the show "Glitterball" on ITV. She hosted the program's first episode on April 18, 2007, and made her final appearance on September 30. In December 2006, she was named one of Maxim magazine's "Girls of 2007."
Radio and Other Projects
On October 31, 2006, on the "Make Your Play" program, Alex revealed that her full name is Alexandra Kramer Paula de Silva. She frequently participates in programs on LBC radio, openly discussing relationships between men and women. Recently, she recorded pilot episodes for a dating show called "Natural Selection." Alex also works on news broadcasts for a radio station in Surrey and hosts several shows on the new radio station RMS.
