Early Years and Fighting Background
Born in 1976, Alexey Burlutsky began his martial arts journey at the tender age of 8 with boxing.Due to the limited options available in the Soviet Union, he later ventured into Kung Fu, Thai boxing, various karate styles, and hand-to-hand combat.
Military Service and Martial Arts Exploration
After serving in the army, Burlutsky's path led him to Aikido before ultimately discovering Kyokushin.Through his diverse experiences, he developed a profound understanding of different fighting disciplines.
Kyokushin: A True Calling
Burlutsky found his true calling in Kyokushin.He began coaching as a student, leading training sessions for his friends after school. His passion for the martial art continued during his military service, where he trained his fellow soldiers.
Formal Education and Coaching
In the mid-1990s, Burlutsky completed preparatory courses at a pedagogical university and became a part-time trainer in karate and Aikido.His involvement in Kyokushin solidified his desire to pursue coaching full-time. He enrolled in the university's Faculty of Physical Education and graduated successfully.
Competitive Success and Self-Coaching
Despite not having a personal coach, Burlutsky prepared for competitions at various levels through self-training.His dedication and innovative techniques yielded impressive results: multiple championships in Ukraine and the CIS countries, a European championship title, and multiple World Championships (2011, 2014, 2015, 2016).
Kyiv Kyokushin Karate Center Busido
In 2010, Burlutsky founded the Kyiv Kyokushin Karate Center Busido.This academy serves as a platform for him to implement his innovative training methodologies and foster the growth of young champions.
