Early Life and Career
Alexei Gorodov, a Ukrainian footballer and coach, was born and raised in Luhansk, Ukraine. As a young player, he honed his skills at the Luhansk sports boarding school.
Professional Football Career
Gorodov's professional career began with FC Khimik Severodonetsk, where he played as a midfielder. Throughout his career, he represented several teams, including Zorya Luhansk, CSKA Kyiv, Prykarpattya Ivano-Frankivsk, FC Oleksandriya, FC Illichivets Mariupol, FC Borysfen Boryspil, and FC Nyva Vinnytsia.
FC Kharkiv and Vladimir Bezsonov
In 2007, Gorodov made a significant move to FC Kharkiv. Known for his abilities, Gorodov had previously trained under the watchful eye of renowned coach Vladimir Bezsonov at CSKA Kyiv, Nyva Vinnytsia, and Zorya Luhansk.
Coaching Career
After retiring from professional football, Gorodov transitioned into coaching. He currently serves as the head coach of FC Khimik Severodonetsk, the club where he began his playing career.
