Alexey Yanin, a Russian actor, was born on March 14, 1983, in Moscow. He initially studied in a general education school and later transferred to Pushkin School in the fifth grade. However, he did not find Pushkin School to his liking and returned to his previous school after the ninth grade. During this time, Yanin also attended physics and mathematics classes organized by the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), which provided him with a good opportunity to enter the institute.

Yanin's decision to pursue a career in acting was met with mixed reactions from his parents. His mother supported his choice, while his father had doubts and wanted him to join MAI to become an aerospace engineer. Over time, his father began to see that Yanin's acting career was progressing well and became proud of him.
After finishing his education at the Shchepkin Theater School in 2004, Yanin joined the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT). When asked why he chose to work at RAMT, he simply replied, "I came to RAMT and realized that I liked it here. By that time, I had received offers from other theaters, but I felt good here."
Working at RAMT, Yanin showcased his versatility as an actor. He convincingly portrayed characters like the cunning Yan in the play "Yin and Yang" and the naive, optimistic boy Ralph in "Lord of the Flies." Some of his other notable roles include Jomo in "Lorenzaccio," Prince in "Cinderella," Christian-Theodor in "Shadows," and Sasha Hertzen in "The Shore of Utopia."
Yanin's talent extended beyond the theater to the film industry. He was not limited to specific character types and could effortlessly portray both successful young individuals and mama's boys trying to navigate adulthood. One of his major successes was his role as Anton Sedykh in the series "Students," where he played a complex character who transformed from a cunning villain to a more positive figure in the second part of the series.
Yanin also appeared in other projects such as the series "Troe svverkhu" (Kirill), the film "Ostrog. The Case of Fyodor Sechenov" (Leonid Krylov), the series "Klub" (Alex), the melodrama "Bomzhiha" (real estate agent Dima), and the series "Dochki-Materi" (Igor). Although Yanin admits that not all of his works are to his liking, he acknowledges the need to earn a living and support himself financially.
Alexey Yanin is married to actress Olga Khokhlova. They chose a significant date for their wedding: 08.08.08. Initially, they planned to get married during the summer to enjoy the warmth and leave the city. However, their friends encouraged them to choose this specific date.
Throughout his career, Alexey Yanin has received recognition both on stage and screen, showcasing his talent and versatility as an actor.
