Early Life and Education

Ali Reza Pahlavi was born as the youngest son of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, and his third wife, Empress Farah. He spent his early years in the United States, where he pursued higher education.

Academic Achievements

Ali Reza obtained a Bachelor's degree from Princeton University and a Master of Arts in Humanities from Columbia University. He was also a doctoral candidate in Ancient Iranian Studies and Philology at Harvard University.

A Burdened Heart

According to his elder brother, Ali Reza shared the pain and disillusionment of the Iranian people under the weight of their nation's struggles. This emotional turmoil deeply affected him.

Tragic End

On January 4, 2011, Ali Reza ended his own life with a gunshot wound to the head from a Parabellum pistol. His death shocked the world and was a profound loss for his family and the Iranian community.
