Alice McKennis: An American Alpine Skiing Star
Early Career and AccomplishmentsAmerican alpine skier Alice McKennis debuted in 2005 and quickly rose through the ranks. In 2009, as a junior, she made history at the NorAm season opener in Canada, winning four races in four days. Her impressive performances included victories in the downhill and super-G, as well as a top-three finish in FIS Junior World Championships downhill.

Mentored by four-time Olympian and renowned skier Casey Puckett, McKennis honed her skills and joined the U.S. Ski Team development squad. Her remarkable season in NorAm earned her spots on the Europa Cup and World Cup circuits.
World Cup Success and Breakthrough
McKennis' talent shone through at the World Cup level. She achieved a career-best ninth-place finish in the downhill in Switzerland in January 2010. Her consistency throughout the season landed her in the top 30 and a place on the U.S. roster for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
