Early Life and Family
Alina Rachkovskaya was born on September 26, 2002, in Minsk, Belarus, to Sergei and Evelina Rachkovskaya. Her older brother, Alexei, was born one and a half years earlier. Her mother, born on December 25, 1974, worked at the advertising agency "Remark" for a decade after graduating from Smorgon Gymnasium No. 4 and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at Belarusian State University. Her paternal grandfather lived in Vilnius and had six great-grandchildren.
Education
In June 2019, Alina graduated from Gymnasium No. 21, winning second place in the district stage of the "Vivat, Orator!" contest in February. She then moved to Moscow to attend the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio, where she studied under Marina Brusnikina and Sergei Shchedrin. Her brother graduated from Secondary School No. 169 and Lyceum No. 2 before enrolling in the Faculty of Physics at Belarusian State University.
Artistic Journey
Alina's interest in music began before her role in "Strings." From 2009 to 2017, she pursued additional music education and performed at the "Spring Strings" competition for young string instrument players. During the filming of "Strings," she rediscovered her love for the cello, revealing in an interview in October 2021 that she had been learning to play since childhood.
Before moving to Moscow, Alina made her acting debut in the adventure-crime film "Game Rules" and appeared in a brief role in the biographical drama "Kupala," playing the sister of the Belarusian national poet.
Breakthrough Role in "Strings"
Alina's breakthrough role came in the Russian drama series "Strings," which premiered at the "Pilot" festival in 2021. In the series, she played a young cellist struggling with self-doubt and family issues. Her performance garnered critical acclaim, and the series reached the finals of the musical project section at the Conecta Fiction forum.
Personal Life
Alina is a private person who rarely shares details of her personal life on social media. She is known for her stunning blue eyes, freckles, and fair hair. Beyond her musical abilities, she also plays the guitar and piano, enjoys singing and dancing, and is fluent in Belarusian and English with the help of a dictionary.
