Indorama Ventures: A Global Industry Leader
Lohia's arrival in Thailand over two decades ago marked the establishment of Indorama Ventures. Under his leadership, the company made its debut on the Thai Stock Exchange in 2005. Through strategic expansions and groundbreaking innovations, Indorama Polymers emerged as a global leader in its industry by 2010.
Delisting and Restructuring
In February 2010, Lohia delisted Indorama Polymers and brought its parent company, Indorama Ventures, to the forefront. The move enabled the corporation to broaden its operations, embracing new product lines and research initiatives.
Family and Success
Alok Lohia's success extends beyond the realm of business. He is married to Suchitra Lohia, who holds an executive position in Indorama Ventures' Petform division. Together, they share three children who are actively involved in the family enterprise.
The Next Generation
Aradhana Lohia, the eldest daughter, holds an MBA with honors from Babson College. She brings her expertise as a Strategic Analyst and Planner to Indorama Ventures. Her brother, Yash Lohia, has earned a Master's degree in Engineering Business Management from the University of Warwick. He serves as an Analyst alongside his sister. The youngest sibling, Anuj, is currently pursuing his Business Management degree at his brother's alma mater.
