Biography: Amarkhuu Borkhuu

Amarkhuu Borkhuu, a popular singer and the winner of the TV show "People's Artist-3," was born on July 1, 1987 in Mongolia. His parents moved to Russia and settled in Ulan-Ude, Buryatia when he was a child.

Early Musical Career

Amarkhuu's musical journey began during his early school days when he was invited to join the folk ensemble "Veselushki" at the Railway Culture Center. His teachers always praised his friendliness and kindness. As he started singing, he gained popularity among his schoolmates, especially the girls who were thrilled by his performances. However, he never let this fame get to his head. His English teacher, Larisa Khalzagarova, said, "We knew that his perfect upbringing was thanks to his parents. One time, Amarkhuu misbehaved, and I called his father to the school. I saw how much respect he had for his father."

Discovering Pop Music

One day, Amarkhuu came across an album by the group "Backstreet Boys" and realized that his calling was in pop music. His enrollment in the vocal studio "Aktsent," along with his energetic and vibrant Eastern appearance, quickly earned him a fan base. His parents played a significant role in supporting his musical endeavors. His father, a professional circus actor and director, initially opposed Amarkhuu's interest in acrobatics. However, he approved of his son's singing passion and was delighted when Amarkhuu was accepted into the theater "Baikal" during his 10th grade. It was in this theater that he truly became an artist.

Success on "People's Artist-3"

Before participating in the TV show "People's Artist-3," Amarkhuu Borkhuu excelled in numerous interregional and republican competitions, consistently winning first place. However, he hesitated to join "People's Artist" for a long time, believing he lacked sufficient experience. It was only upon the insistence of his friends that he finally decided to audition in Irkutsk for the third season. Amarkhuu is a romantic and infatuated young man, which is perhaps why his favorite performance on the show was his rendition of the song "How Many Good Girls There Are."

Future Aspirations

Despite his victory, Amarkhuu Borkhuu has no intention of resting on his laurels. He is highly self-critical and believes that he still has much to learn.
